”Groundbreaking Foundations specializes in the management and construction of retaining walls and noise/acoustic barrier systems for its customers in civil, commercial and residential spaces. These acoustic barrier systems are required when noise assessments determine that noise from traffic, industrial equipment, trains and tracks may negatively impact residences, businesses and people. The system works to mitigate excess noise volumes that enter a community by interrupting the direct path of the sound.
“Acoustic barriers can interrupt noise by either reflecting or absorbing the sound energy as soon as possible, allowing our clients to meet and exceed safe noise levels so they can work side-by-side with their communities and maximize their properties’ potential,” said Petersen.
