After more than 100 years of service, the North Washington Street Bridge is being replaced with a new bridge for the 21st-century. A complete street over water that works for everyone: people driving, riding the bus, biking, walking, sightseeing, boating and living nearby. TREVIICOS is progressing its work for the construction of the drilled shaft foundations to support the five new piers.

Treviicos was selected as subcontractor to carry out the foundation works for the North Washington St. Bridge Replacement over the Boston Inner Harbor project, owned by MassDOT Highway Division.

The foundation works consist of the execution of 40 drilled shafts with a diameter of 6 feet and rock socket with a diameter of 5.5 feet; lengths range from 63 to 95 feet. The drilled shafts are excavated from temporary cofferdams installed at the location of the five new piers of the bridge. Piling Canada
