It’s safe to say that the team at Warranty Consulting Services knows quite a bit about providing equipment dealers with complete warranty collection and reporting solutions.
With its headquarters in Magnolia, Texas, Barbara Hall founded Warranty Consulting Services 26 years ago. The collective experience of Hall and her staff totals an impressive 130 years.
“With so many changes that have happened throughout the years, it’s such an accomplishment knowing that we’re still around and creating a space to help dealers maximize their warranty profits,” said Hall.
With a mission to provide dealers with the information needed to create a profitable and successful service warranty department, Hall and her team adhere to timely warranty claim adjudication, maximize claim revenue and provide continuing education to stakeholders.
The company primarily provides the following services:
- Warranty collections and reporting
- Personal injury protection and part return reporting
- Part return notifications
- Manufacturer audit compliance
- Product registrations
Latest software
The company recently introduced its latest software, which provides updated insights to help create more reliable and profitable service and warranty departments.
“The new software assists dealers to better capture warranty dollars spent on repairs and simplify procedures to better adhere to the warranty guidelines of most major original equipment manufacturers operating in North America,” said Hall.
Currently, the new proprietary software is only available to Warranty Consulting Services’ dealers. However, a software leasing option for equipment dealers who do not use the company as its warranty administrator will become available in the near future.
Hall says that few – if any – other equipment dealer systems on the market can give dealers this kind of understanding into their warranty departments to promote better financial success.
“Other dealer business systems deal with some financials, but do not provide the information dealers need to best maximize benefits from the workings of their service departments, especially when it comes to warranties.”
While developed for the equipment industry, the software is also applicable to truck and marine dealers.
Hall was also pleased to have attended CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023 in Las Vegas this past March with some of her team members.
“One of our main goals is to expand our reach and product offering. We have plans to introduce new products and services that cater to the changing needs of our customers by exploring ways to leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve our operations and enhance customer experience,” she said.
Her team is also working on expanding its reach into all dealerships by creating a Warranty Software Leasing program off its current program.
Hall also adds that while the company currently operates only in the U.S., she hopes to expand its services into Canada.
What’s next?
As for what the near future holds for Warranty Consulting Services, Hall says her company has made tremendous progress and she is excited to continue building on that momentum in the next three to five years.
“Our software is constantly developing. As we work with our dealers, we get insights on additional information they would like to have. We will keep evolving our software to best integrate that type of information and more. Overall, we are optimistic about our future and believe that our strategic plans will position us for long-term success.”
