its success with the challenging soil conditions, the company
was awarded another large contract, for an additional 1,600
piles, at the same facility.
The project includes the initial pile testing program to
confirm the design, pre-bore for all pile locations, installation
of 12- and 14-inch-diameter steel driven piles and welded
steel pile cap plates, galvanizing of the welded plates and
large-mass excavations. On the two contracts, the company
has been incident-free for more than 145,000 man-hours
worked.
