Welcome to the summer issue of Piling Canada! We’ve had a busy spring
so far.
I was fortunate enough to attend CONEXPO in Las Vegas this past
March, and I met many Piling Canada readers and advertisers as I
hobbled through the massive event (I’m convinced there aren’t shoes in the world
comfortable enough to get you through CONEXPO with pain-free feet). I had never
been previously, and I could not believe how large and impressive the show was
– the displays and booths were endless. I actually missed the entire Gold Lot tent
and didn’t realize it was there until I looked at aerial photos after coming home to
Winnipeg. If you were in the Gold Lot tent, I’m sorry I missed you! I spent most of my
time wandering around the Silver Lot, as that’s where a lot of the deep foundation
